Book Tag

I got this one from over on Insane Mama blog...

1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open to page 123
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged you.

The nearest book to me is The Host by Stephenie Meyer.

Found sentence five, here are the next three...
"Her face was a mass of wrinkles, all of them turning down into angry lines. But there was something familiar about the features behind the lines. Melanie made the connection between the ancient face and another, smoother face in her memory."

Sure paints a picture, right?

Lets see, I will tag Wendy, Marrdy, alicatstrut, Paint and Soul and Stephanie.

I have just started reading the Twilight book. It totally consumes me. I can't put it down. But I'm so glad you agree with me on the issue of manners. Don't you just want to loose it on them?? So uncalled for don't ya think?

Yay, I have never been tagged by anyone before. Unfortunately, I have zero books at work, so I will have to wait til I get home to do this.

About the private blogs, there have been people I know that have gone private that I wouldn't think they would want me to read their blogs, but I wanted to so I asked them. Its possible that they don't want to assume you are super interested in their lives, so they haven't seeked you out individually. I don't know... just a thought.

Ahh, thanks for the tag! I haven't gotten to read that particular book yet. I liked her other ones.... on to my own blog to post!!

I'm definitely doing this meme, but I'm waiting until later because, as it happens, the nearest book to me is The Host (I just finished it!) and that wouldn't be much fun.

Have you read all of "The Host"? I heard it was good, what did you think of it?
As for this book thing, my friends and I used to wander around the book section in the grocery store and pick up random books, open to random pages, and each read a line from our books-made for some pretty interesting mini-stories.

Jules, nope, I'm only about halfway through it.
