Q & A

A while back, I asked you all to ask me any questions that you've had on your mind. Now I will post them along with my answers.

Paint and Soul asks...
"what is your fave Dr. Seuss book and why?? Or if he wasn't your fave, then your fave children's book and why?"
Good question!
This one is kind of tough for me, I've never been able to pick just one favorite. I've always loved reading. In elementary school, I was always at the top of my grade in the summer reading contests. My favorite Dr. Seuss book would probably have to be either One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish or Oh, the Places You'll Go!
I also really loved to read The Babysitters Club series and The Boxcar Children series.

alicatstrut asks...
"Do you dream in black and white or color? Full stories, images, vignettes?"
That is an awesome question! I don't always remember my dreams, but when I do, they are in color most of the time and usually full stories. I do have a few random ones that don't fit that mold though. Growing up two of my scariest dreams were ones that didn't fit the mold, maybe that is why they scared me so much.

Ronnica asks...
"What is your favorite thing about the blogosphere?"
I love how I can find people that I have stuff in common with and also different types of people that I never would've met in the place that I live. Also, the majority of the blogging community are so supportive of one another. You don't often find such supportive people in day-to-day life.
"What do you want to be/do when you "grow up"?"
When I grow-up... Let's see, what is considered grown up?
Well, I have so many interests, I have never been able to narrow it down to any one thing. I think there are many things that I could be happy with doing for the rest of my life. I think ultimately, whatever path I take in life, I just want to be happy.

That's all for now. If you want your question included in the next round, don't hesitate to ask! Again, I don't care how serious or how goofy the questions are.

Have you ever read any of the "Wonderful World of Richard Scarry" books? I still love them. :)

I think it is impossible to dream in color, but for some reason people are convinced they do
I'll look it up, don't remember where I've read it

Ha, I am convinced I dream in color, too. Quite positive actually. I dream loads, evidently *lol*

I totally agree about the supportive spirit in the blogosphere. Really nice.

I have a question for you. As your work mother how am I going to teacher you to curb your wild spending habits so you don't look so blasted cute every day? It distracts the crew!!

Fun questions and answers. The blogging community does certainly afford a lot of opportunities to meet different people--I love all the wonderful personalities and tastes reflected in their words, images, and even the blog layout!

Thanks for answering my questions! I don't know what I want to do when I "grow up" either, but I'm afraid I'm dangerously close to getting there...

I also loved the Babysitter's Club (I so wanted to be Mary Anne!) and the Boxcar Children! I actually want to name my first daughter Violet because of it.

When my kids were little, I read them so much Dr. Seuss that I've committed them all to memory! Madeleine, Charlotte's Web, and Stuart Little, too! It's sometimes a funny party game of one to break out these classics. I also know how to say the alphabet backwards...I'm pretty much a hoot for any occasion!

That dress does sound like a difficult alteration. I'm really not such an expert (a real seamstress would probably cry at the insides of my dresses!). I would probably just lop off a good amount and maybe re-attach the hem?
