Teal & Gold Ombre Mani

I had a couple of comments over the last week asking how I did my teal and gold ombre-like mani, so I thought I'd write a quick post explaining how I did it.

I had Sephora by OPI's Teal We Meet Again on my nails for a few days and the tips were starting to chip a little bit. With the intention of picking out a new color, I picked up my bottle of Sephora by OPI's Rumba Romance to try it out before I removed my polish. I messily put it on the tip of one of my nails and it looked really cool so I kept going. I started out by doing the tip of the nail and as the brush started drying out, I'd move it further down the nail a little bit so that it appeared to fade away. It might take a nail or two before you get a hang of the technique.

I hope you'll give it a try and share your results with me!

thanks for the comment on my blog!

Potato salad is a good idea. Last year we did macaroni salad haha.

Btw I'm loving your nails! They came out awesome. I wish when I paint my nails I don't get nail polish everywhere haha :)

This looks so cool! I'm def going to try it, I paint my nails approximately every 3 days because the tips of my nails always chip. Thanks!!
