In Stitches

I've been having so much fun playing with the iPhone app Instagram lately so I thought I'd start sharing my photos with you!

So here it goes, my first "day in an instagram!"

My company set up once-a-week beginners sewing classes for those in the company who are interested. I'm not a beginner, but I really want to learn the proper way to sew rather than my "make it up as I go" method.

This was the day we learned how to use their super-fancy $1,400 sewing machines. This machine has me totally spoiled now--it threads the needle and cuts the thread at the touch of a button. (Come on, right?) Then there are a whole bunch of fancy stitched pre-programmed into the machine. Totally over-the-top, but I loved it!
