Day 12

Day 12
How I Found out About Blogs and Why I Made One

I find this question sort of hilarious. I don't really remember how I "found out about blogs," but I have a feeling the first time I "blogged" was on MySpace. ha

I do remember wondering what the point of blogging was considering probably no one would read it and if they did, they probably wouldn't comment. I continue to be proved wrong every day and I have YOU (Yes, you. I see you there, lurking on my blog--it's okay to comment once in a while!) to thank for it. When also remember that when I created this blog, I had no idea what I wanted to do with it or what it's purpose would be--and the direction changes a little every day.

I think I created my blog because I've always been an "adopter"--I sign up and try everything before I decide if it's for me. Some services I sign up for, use the one time, and never come back. Others, I become obsessed with and never stop e.g. Twitter, Kaboodle, and my blog.

I wish I had more reasons to use "e.g." in my everyday life

I started blogging over 7 years ago when I realized I was obsessed with reading other people's blogs, and at first it was a way to communicate with different people. Then it became a cheap form of therapy for me, and its pretty much stayed there since.
