Nail Bliss Bling

It seems that pretty much everyone is turning out nail strips these days and I'm more than happy to try out each and every pair I come across. When perusing the lacquer wall at my local beauty supply shop, I spotted a new addition--a display filled with Nail Bliss strips. I only let myself buy one set so I chose this fun pink and purple gradiation design and applied it on top of Essie's Cocktail Bling.

So what did I think? Let me break it down for you!

Size selection
Pretty decent! I found something that worked for each of my nails. The only trouble is you have to choose a size that is smaller than your nail so you can seal it in. As you can see by my thumbnail, that makes for a bit of a gap. B

Application
Super easy! It was great to just pull them off the plastic sheet and place. They are thick so you don't have to worry about ruining them before you even put them on. If you misplace you can gently lift off to adjust. A

Shaping
As I mentioned earlier, the gap between the edge of the applique and my nail is mildly distressing, but what can you do? Filing of at the end of my nail was more difficult than any other strip I've tried, but that was simply because of the thickness. Not a deal breaker. B+

Staying Power
Here's the thing, I generally don't leave a manicure on my nails for more than two or three days, so I don't ask for much. By the end of my mani attention span (read: three days) the edges were starting to lift. While this isn't a problem for me, I would not recommend these for people hoping to get a week or two out of these strips. They would be super great for a special occasion though! A-

The Verdict
So would I try this brand again? Absolutely! In fact, these are the two I'm thinking of for next time!

You are the Queen of Nails, Adiel! Seriously, I am always so impressed. I will definitely try this out. I am all about applying a design - way easier than actually creating it myself!

wow, these are really pretty and look great with your nail polish. Unfortunately, I do care about manicures lasting at least a few days and work with my hands so I don't think I'd be trying these any time soon

Awww, you are too kind! I would be honored if that were true! ;)

Yeah, sounds like you'd be better off skipping this particular product. Have you tried Seche Vite yet? That can make even the 99 cent polish last for days and days!

That is such a compliment coming from you, Santina! Thanks!

Thanks for giving each category a grade. That def helped me wrap my head around the quality. And any nail strips with a 3.5 gpa are good in my book ;)
