Manicure Round-Up

It's time for another round-up of manicures from me and readers of IBITTM!

For Christmas, my roommate gave me the Nicki Minaj's OPI minis set. I have been obsessed with the blue color called Fly and finally got around to using it. I achieved the look you see below by doing one coat of Revlon's Golden, one coat of Nicole by OPI's Disco Dolls. After that was good and dry, I taped off the half moon with french manicure guides and painted a coat of Fly.

Helpful tip: If you don't have any french manicure guides, you can just use a bit of tape, just make sure to press the tape to your skin first so the tape doesn't pull up your polish.

A couple of months back I spotted these jewel stickers in the scrapbooking section at Michael's and thought they were the perfect size for a manicure. So I snatched them up! The trouble is I completely forgot about them until just the other day!

The jewels came in two sizes and have an adhesive back so applying them was super easy. Honestly, the hardest part was picking a color to use under the jewels. That color ended up being Nails Inc's Chelsea, a deep plum black color. And you can't forget about the topcoat for a mani like this. My usual suspect? Seche Vite Fast Dry, of course!

I was also thrilled to have my sister send manicure photos of the designs on her's and her best friend's nails.

Have a manicure you'd like to share, feel free to send it to me!

I love the first and third design. I think it's the color combos...and the glitter!
