I have been avoiding the poncho-cape because after seeing myself in photos from the first time I wore it, I was concerned it was too big for my short torso. But when seeking something cozy to wrap myself up in the other day, I reached for it without hesitation. I think my problem was wearing it with flats the first time, I definitely needed the extra height these wedge booties give me!

I get asked a lot about remedies for thin nails that are prone to breakage. Because it has come up a lot recently, I thought I would share it here. I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that for many years I had acrylic nails. When I finally got the sense to remove them for good, I was left with absolutely destroyed real nails. When talking to my hair stylist, he suggested I start taking Biotin supplements to stimulate growth. Bonus—it helps your hair grow, too! While I was waiting to for the damaged nail to fully grow out, I tried a lot of strengthening base coats. Nothing I tried came close to Nail Aid. It really gave my nails the strength they needed.
