I'm not a tall woman. I'm also not a short woman. I'm 5' 3 & 3/4". The average height of a woman in America is 5'5" so yeah, I'm pretty much in the middle. Unfortunately, that puts me square in between regular and petite clothing. Regular jeans are a bit too long for me, but petite is too short so I tend to buy regular lengths. So when I saw this black maxi skirt available in regular or petite length, I nearly bought the regular length. Then I saw a 5'9" woman wearing the regular length with heels and it still came to the floor. That's when I knew I needed to opt for the petite length. And I'm so glad I did because look how long it still is on me!

One of my favorite looks by far! Love that skirt!
Great skirt! It's funny the different perceptions of size. At 5"4 I'm an average height North American, but in Denmark, where I live now, I'm tiny. Either way I think it's a great height to be!
I fell your pain with hem lengths, I'm about 5"4' and am always caught between regular and petite - if they even have a petite that is, most of the time they don't!
Love your satchel!
