It's no secret that music plays a big part of my life. I love being able to listen to it at all times of the day, even while at work. Which is why I was stoked when Flips Audio asked me to take their headphones for a spin. The moment I put them on, I was struck with how comfortable they are. Beyond that, outside noise was significantly decreased, even before I turned on the music. Once I hit the play button on my playlist, I was instantly impressed with the clarity of the sound. I was understanding lyrics that had only been mumbles to me previously.
But the coolest thing about these headphones is that they are more than just headphones; with a quick flip of the ear pieces, they become super powerful speakers. As Flips says, "from solo to social" in a matter of seconds. My deskmate likes it when I flip my headphones in to speakers for a little afternoon desk dance party.
The headphones are great for when you're on the go, as well. They fold up to fit inside their very own little case and go with you wherever your musical needs take you. I was able to clip my case onto my carryon bag on my two recent flights so I could tune out in-flight noise. Once I landed, I was able to share some of my favorite tunes on speakers that were loud and clear.
