In My Bag

Recently I added a Louis Vuitton Speedy 40 to my handbag collection. It's amazingly large and fit everything in it--it can even fit my laptop! It inspired me to do a "What's in My Bag" post, which I don't think I've ever done in the history of IBITTM! Read on to see what's in my bag and why!

  • Marc by Marc Jacobs turnlock wallet - The place where I store more receipts than actual cash and way too many rewards cards.
  • Mason Pearson pocket comb - This comb is kind of a must have for every gal with bangs.
  • Pilot G2 Dr. Grip pen - This is literally the pen I used to sign the papers for the first car I bought in my name. I fell in love with it and the finance gal gave it to me. I've had to replace the ink cartridge a couple of times, but it's been with me for all these years.
  • Nail file - Because you never know when you're going to snag or break a nail.
  • House of Harlow "Adalyn" sunglasses & case - I always have a pair of sunglasses on hand and this particular pair is my current go-to.
  • Mini Seche Vite top coat - It's super convenient to have a little bottle of my favorite top coat on hand to touch up my manicure
  • Lush Lemony Flutter cuticle cream - This super creamy product is my preferred hand cream, but can do double duty as body lotion or lip balm in a pinch. Once, I even used the smallest bit of it as moisturizer for super dry ends of my hair.
  • Doterra Peppermint and Wild Orange essential oils - Since I got pregnant, these oils have saved me from nausea, headaches, anxiety, and gross smells. I never go anywhere without them now.
  • Goody Spin Pins - These little guys are perfect for holding up my thin hair in an emergency.
  • Advil bottle - A little secret: this bottle is actually filled with Tylenol since pregnant women can't take ibuprofen!
  • Tums Refreshers - I have heartburn nearly every day now that I'm in my second trimester. Not only do these little guys instantly relieve the symptoms, but they make my breath feel fresh with the minty taste.
  • Julep Double Step - As previously noted, this product is saving me from the blisters and broken skin that flats tend to give me.
  • Mophie juice pack - Those who know me know I'm notorious for draining my phone battery while on the go. With my Mophie battery pack case, I can recharge without being hooked to a wall.
  • DVF lips pouch & assorted lipsticks - I like options when it comes to lip color. I always have a handful of lip selections in my handbag and this little pouch is the perfect place to store them.
  • Kleenex - Now that I'm pregnant, I cry at the littlest things. Ever since we went and saw Lone Survivor early in my first trimester and I sobbed through the entire thing, I've made sure to keep a pack of tissues in my bag. The packaging of this Kleenex option is so adorable, it just looks like another accessory!
  • DVF wallet - Yes, I have two wallets. This smaller second option is where I keep all of my business cards for work or my blog. This way they're easily accessible without bulking up my main waller.
