K is for...

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend a birthday party for a couple girls whose names begin with the letter K. For that reason, the party was K-themed, meaning you had to come dressed as something that begins with the letter K. Awesome, right?

I spent some time thinking what I could be and was stumped for a bit. I toyed with the idea of being a kitten, but that seemed too obvious. I finally landed on being a kite. The next question was to figure out how to represent a kite. A short discussion with my roommate and her BF led me to opt for a head piece.

One trip to the craft store and a few hours later, this is what I came up with...
