Blue Frosting and a Goodbye

Things have been super hectic over the last few days as I said goodbye to my roommate of the past year as she moved two hours away to start a new job and helped my new roommate get settled (between the two of us, we have more kitchen stuff than we know what to do with!). Chels was by far the best roommate I've ever had and it's nice to know that it is actually possible to have a mature and drama-free relationship with a roommate.


Chelsea's last night at our apartment, my new roommate and I semi-successfully threw a surprise farewell/good luck party for her. I say semi-successfully because her boyfriend didn't do a good job of getting her to the party on time and my new roommate's cat jumped into the cake we made for her. I didn't mind though, it gave our party character and it all worked out in the end!
