With Independance Day right around the corner, I'm feeling quite patriotic. I decided it was time to rock a red, white, and blue themed-mani and I came up with what I'm calling the Firecracker Manicure.
Step 1: Color it!
I started by using Sephora by OPI's Personal Shopper to paint half of each nail red. Then I used OPI's Blue My Mind to paint the other half. Make sure the base colors are 100% dry before moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Crackle it!
I used OPI's White Shatter to paint over the entire nail. Make sure to shake well and apply lightly so that the crackle effect can work it's full magic.
Step 3: Sparkle it!
Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday glitter polish is the perfect way to complete this firework of a mani. One coat will do, but feel free to get a little crazy!
Step 4: Seal it!
Grab your favorite top coat to make this mani last all weekend! I like Seche Vite.
Step 5: Show it!
Baby, you're a firework, so let those colors burst. Snap a pic of your own patriotic nails and send 'em my way so I can feature them!
