Just Like (t)Hat

About this look...
Dressing for the rain is one of the hardest things for me to do. I have the cutest pair of rainboots, but I never know if I should wear them. And I don't own a raincoat (oops). I have lots of cute umbrellas though! Anyway, I digress...

When I woke up to another rainy day, I knew just what to do. It was time to finally break out the floppy hat I purchased at the Forever 21 grand opening in San Francisco. To stay nice and warm, I reached for the orange-red and tan striped sweater Lands End Canvas sent me earlier in the season. The rest of the outfit came pretty easy.

The funny thing is, by the time I took pictures, the rain had moved on and the ground had dried right up! Good thing I didn't wear the rain boots!

Song of the day...
I've been pretty hooked on the song home by Ok Sweetheart for a month or so now. Probably because I can relate a little bit to what she is singing about--home isn't a place, it's a feeling.

I can't stop listening to it, so I thought I'd share it with you!  Enjoy!

I love your outfit! My favorite is your hat and shoes. The stripe shirt is super comfy looking too. Love the orange strips.

What a great idea! Next time it's rainy I'm gonna pull out that sassy hat and get chic with the raindrops! :) The vintage coach is divine.

Definitely do it! Rain doesn't have to be an outfit ruiner!
