Perfect Pastels

I had the pleasure of attending last week’s party at Gap to celebrate Rue Magazine’s style.by collaboration! Let me just tell you—Gap and Rue really know how to throw a party! They had delicious refreshments, a way-too-much-fun photobooth wall, Live DJ + dancing, and 20% off shopping! Obviously I had to take advantage of it! Right?

I had my eye on these lavender jeans but they only had one size left on the table. I kept going back to the table to check as if my size would magically appear. It made no sense, but on my fourth visit back to the denim table, suddenly my size was sitting right on top! Without hesitation, I swooped them up and purchased them. It was shopping fate and I certainly couldn’t ignore it.

I paired my lovely new pair of pastel purple jeans with all muted colors—pale pink, light blue, and grey! This is one of my favorite color palettes that I’ve ever worn!

I hate to get senti on you all, but I just have to say how thankful I am for all the wonderful people this blog has introduced me to. Who would have thought I could meet such good, fun, real friends on the interwebs!?
