Purple Panic Manicure

A Sally Beauty Supply opened up super close to my mom's house the other day. My sister and I were their fourth and fifth customers so we got to check out freshly-stocked shelves. I found this super hot neon purple polish from China Glaze and had to have it. So Purple Panic came home with me!

As I contemplated the design I was going to do, I went through the assortment of lacquer that I brought to Utah with me and chose Essie's Chinchilly and Pams & Kin's Karma Chameleon. After a few test designs I ended up with a simple modified French tip.

Two coats of the greige lacquer made the base layer. I carefully swiped the neon purple polish across the tips and used a nail art striping brush to paint a line of shimmery white where the first two colors met. For the finishing touch, I place a small rhinestone accent on each ring finger then a coat of Seche Vite Fast Dry top coat to complete the manicure!

Love this! I really need to get some nail brushes to do this kind of thing. The thin white stripe really makes this mani pop!
