Orange & Burgundy

burgundy waxed jeans with orange striped lands end sweater and brown coach bag plus glitter booties09

I've been having so much fun playing with color lately and it just so happens that the hot fall color is pretty much a neutral--it seems to go with everything! I've been pairing it with black, grey, and blush a lot, but I've discovered how great it looks with orange.

I pulled out my orange striped button-back sweater for the first time this season and threw it on with my burgundy waxed jeans and glitter booties. Because it's not terribly cold in The Bay, I've been taking advantage of cuffing my pants with my ankle boots rather than tucking them in.

For accessories, I stuck with the same color story; my vintage brown Coach bag, a gold peter pan collar necklace, and my favorite tortoise sunnies.

I really like this color combo. I also love the gold accents, because gold and burgundy is my absolute favorite.

I know, right? Seems like they'd make a cute cheer uni... ;)
