It's only mid-February, but I'm already starting to feel the shift of seasons. It could be the warm weather the Bay Area experienced late last week or the colorful pieces I snagged from the Prabal Gurung collection for Target, but either way I'm definitely starting to see the signs of spring!
This is actually the outfit I wore on Valentine's Day which also happened to be the day that my husband returned from our first time apart since we got married. I chose this dress because it was the one I wore for our engagement photos. Because the weather was so unbelievably beautiful, I stepped into the multicolored nolita print pointy Prabal pumps and opted for a bare leg.
I considered wearing a trench coat with the dress, but opted for a sleeveless version to lighten the look. Over my heart, I pinned a coral faux flower. My go-to silver initial necklace was the right way to dress up my neck without competing with the flower too much.
I don't often go out without my contacts because I don't like not being able to see clearly in my entire range of vision, but my contacts were bugging me so I simply rocked my Warby Parker Zagg frames instead!
To match the dress perfectly, I mixed two Kate Spade Supercalifragilipstick shades together--Pop Art Pink and Adventurous Red. And to carry my lip color and all other daily essentials, it had to be my black Rebecca Minkoff Covet tote.
Are you feeling the signs of spring, too?
