Get Ready to Play!
The extra little goodie this month was Julep's Strawberry-Mint Lip Balm. I like how smooth it and that the mint is super subtle. Yum!

The assorted pastel colors that Julep Mavens got to choose from was absolutely delightful. The creamy chalk-like colors made me think of Easter.
Teri
Shenae
This mint green laquer isn't as thick as Teri, but still goes on super smooth. I adore the shimmery opalescence!Simone
This soft lilac color also was not as thick as Teri, but still super creamy with a pretty blue opalescent shimmer.
The Add-Ons
This stuff is by far the best polish remover I've ever used. Somehow it really does leave my hands and nails feeling conditioned instead of stripped dry. Plus, the pump makes is so easy to use for an accident-prone fool like me! I've already gone through my first bottle and it was time to get a replacement so picking it as one of my add-ons was the perfect choice.
Minnie
This polish is touted as a pastel pink, but I found it had a too much orange in it to be purely pink. It was the thinnest consistency of the bunch and also had a pretty iridescence.
Lucky
This festive green with hints of gold glitter mix is Julep's nod to St. Patrick's Day! One coat would nicely do the trick, but I went for two coats for maximum opacity.
All in all, the pastel colors were all perfect in my opinion. And despite the fact that I ended up with two very similar colors, I'm pretty stoked about my selections and can't wait to start mixing these colors into future manicures!
Final Thoughts
Did you get a Julep Maven box this month? What did you get and what did you think? I'd love to hear!
If not, sign up now so you can get the April box!
