OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener for Soft & Thin Nails
I'm often asked which nail strengthener I recommend for harder nails. I've tried a few that I'm a fan of, but my current favorite is OPI's. I can literally see the curve of my nail tightening as it dries. One coat under any nail polish helps to keep my nails from splitting or breaking.

SHU UEMURA Art of Hair Volume Maker
This product is sold as a dry shampoo and though I'm sure it does a great job at doing that, I'm far more interested in it's texturizing and volumizing power. Seriously. Just a quick dusting at the crown of the head and I have instant lift and volume. Given the spendy price point of this product, I definitely do not recommend this as a dry shampoo. Even I only use it only when I'm desperate for some extra oomph.

Fitbit One
I've been using this little pedometer on steroids for the last month and I'm quite smitten. Not only does it track my steps and tell me approximately how many miles I've walked each day, but it tracks my sleep and approximately how many calories I've burned. Better yet, it syncs with a whole lot of apps to help me to be better aware of how I'm taking care of my body. I couldn't recommend this enough!

Peppermint Essential Oil
Most of you may not know, but I suffer from severe motion sickness. I get a dizzying headache in almost any moving vehicle but have even become motion sick on a office chair. Recently my sister recommended peppermint oil, which is known for settling stomachs, to help relieve my motion sickness symptoms. She is a genius. Not only has it been working for me, but I've discovered it helps my general headaches as well. I'm not sure if it works because I believe it does or if it's actually affecting something in my body, but either way, it works!

John Frieda Frizz Ease 3Day Straight Flat Iron Spray
I recently got this hair product in an Influenster box to review. As I understood, if you spritz this stuff in your wet or damp locks before drying and flat ironing, your hair will stay straight for at least three days. I was skeptical it would do me any good because I wake up on non hair washing days with some pretty wild hair (read: crumpled and sticking out in every direction), but because stick-straight hair seems to be making a comeback, I decided to try it. Surprisingly enough, after a quick detangling with a brush, my hair is back to the long, straight lines of the day before. I can't speak to the three days promise as I wash my hair every other day, but if day two is any hint, I'm willing to bed day three would be another day of sleek hair!
