The down side of a good scale day.

The definition of a good scale day is pretty self explanatory; any day where the scale tells me a number that I like.

I've rediscovered a down side to this phenomenon called a good scale day. That would be the way that my pants fit. I can no longer rely on my love handles alone to hold up my jeans. Naturally I'm thrilled at the changes in my physical appearance, as conceited as that sounds. However now I'm looking at moving into a new pant size. Of course that would be another positive thing. The problem is that I've just spent the last few months buying all new denim. So now I'm looking at a closet full of pants and jeans that are sliding down my hips.

Are normal sized belts that go inside your belt loops in style yet?
Or maybe I can find a piece of stray rope...

Step away from the jeans! Focus on the positiveness of getting in better shape and buy (a few) new pieces until you're at your target.

As a recovering packrat, I know how difficult this can be, but the sooner you get rid of them and start wearing jeans that fit correctly on your current frame, the sooner you'll be happy about ALL of it.
