Moody Monday

Life has been pretty busy for me for the last week or so. Today was supposed to be another normal Monday in the office, Panty hell/heaven later.

It didn't quite work out that way.
I didn't set my alarm and therefore woke up late.
On my way to work, I got stuck behind an accident on the freeway for 20 minutes.
Walking in to work, the strap on my shoes broke.
... and once in the office, its only gotten better. (note the sarcasm)

Needless to say, Its been a pretty moody day for me today. Its easy to blame your bad mood on not getting enough sleep or PMS or something, but that doesn't fix the bad mood itself.

So here is my question, What do you do when you're stuck in a bad mood? What do you do to cheer yourself up? Lately, for me its been retail therapy. That's fine once in a while, but constant retail therapy is not a good habit to fall into. I need to find new ways to get myself in my regular good mood. Please share the things that cheer you up with me!

I know I haven't updated much recently, but I fully intended to catch you up on my week at cheer camp and give the normal weekend update, but I haven't had time for that quite yet. I'll try to get that done for ya and I hope to get caught up with all your posts at some point. Until then, have a good day! :)

Dancey music usually cheers me up.

That would help for sure...
If my iPod would connect to my computer. Lame.

Reading Aubrey's blogs makes me laugh.
Stumbling also puts your mind in a bit of a stupor to numb thoughts.
Looking for a red shirt for your little sister has been known to be a replacement for retail therapy since she is too lame to know how to shop for herself...
Also, Help! I have a teenagers blog is pretty funny.
If you must purchase... might I suggest the dollar spot at target??
Find Kaboodle baby-ness for your favorite sister.
I hear doing things for other people is very rewarding. You could write me a poem or figure out how to get me more interested in music.
Or you could always make faces in the mirror at yourself until you laugh at how ridiculous you look. Re-read the 1st chapter of Midnight Sun?
Do some squats at your desk. Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy.
I think I'm out of ideas for now...

I like to organize things when I'm having a crappy day. That's how my clothes end up in a pile on my bed so often, ha. But even something as simple as turning all of the money in my wallet in the same direction helps.

I am sending happy rays your way.

I try to think of something to look forward to...or find something that will make me laugh.

That morning would be tough to recover from though. I'd be pretty pissy too.
