Wearing a plaid flannel shirt never fails to make me feel a bit like a lumberjack. But I decided to just roll with it and let inspire my look. I tucked the plaid shirt into a plack pencil skirt with a lace edge. I picked out my Alexander Wang 'Abbey' heels to wear because they've always reminded me a bit of workmen's boots. I carried a simple black bag and wore my black watch to keep things toned down. But I couldn't resist adding a sparkly necklace a a bold lip color.
