This look is a variation on a tutorial from the August/September issue of NailIt! Magazine. I used Essie's 'Chinchilly' to paint stripes on top of white background created with Illamasqua's 'Scorch.' On top of that, I used 'Honor' from Square Hue's July collection to paint a little houndstooth design. For variety's sake, I offset the stripes and houndstooth so it looked like the two layers were slightly shifted leaving only houndstooth on the index nail and only stripes on the pinky nail.
