Goodbye Randall

I've put off writing about this a little bit because the emotions are still fresh. Yesterday I said goodbye to my youngest brother. He is going to be serving a mission in Quito, Ecuador for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Yesterday the family accompanied him to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah to say goodbye. He will be gone for two years and I'll be nearly 25 the next time I see him. I'm going to miss him so much, but I'm so proud of him. I can tell he's excited for this opportunity and I know he'll do great. All I can hope is that he doesn't grow too much while he's away, he already towers over me!

awe! hopefully he comes back safely as a greater man!
xo
ps. love your outfit!
oooh what a sweet post! I hope he has a safe trip!
A friend of mine just finished a four-year stint outside of Quito (that's why I asked if it was the Peace Corps; that's what my friend did!) and had an amazing, life-changing experience helping the people in his town. I bet your brother will do great!
My cousin went on a mission for LDS to Ecuador too! I loved his letters. He came back so grown up
Oh man, now I am crying! Randall will be a great missionary. And in two years you will be able to say it went by quickly. For now you need a hug!!
I so can not believe he is aleady old enough to go on a mission. I remember when we were little playing over at your old house, he was the funniest little guy ever. I can not believe how we are getting older. My stomach dropped when you said "25" is only 2 years away.
wow, 2 years. i'm sure he'll doing an amazing job. xo
