About this look...
When I told you the DIY story behind this jacket, I mentioned that I may continue altering it. I figured this is a good course of action considering I'm throwing it on top of most of my outfits these days. It's the perfect addition to my spring and summer wardrobe, that's for sure!
I picked up some denim blue RIT dye from the craft store and soaked the still-blue part of the jacket for about fifteen minutes. After thoroughly rinsing and air drying, I ended up with a slightly darker and much more even blue color.
I threw my refreshed jacket over a feminine dress with a tough studded belt. I grabbed my neon pink satchel for a pop or color and rocked my new favorite flat sandals to complete this easy warm-weather ensemble.
As much as I love the jacket right now, I've got to be honest with myself, I'm probably going to keep playing around with the coloring of this jacket. It's just way too fun!
