An easy go to outfit combo for those rushed mornings is always the blazer/jacket, tee/tank, jeans, and heels combo. I like to add interest to this simply sort of outfit by mixing colors and playing with detail.
This ensemble plays with the hot color of fall, burgundy, and a couple of colors from Pantone's fall 2012 palette, titanium and rose smoke (aka blush). I adore the way all these colors compliment one another; it's so good that you almost forget how basic this look really is.
I love the leather trimmed edge to this titanium-color tank. It really adds a special touch. The cuffed jeans is an extra bit of added appeal.
I've been growing my hair out for ages and I've only recently been taking advantage of the length by playing around with different hairstyles. I weaved my hair into a tight fishtail braid and once I secured the end, I tugged and pulled sections at random to create a messy-frizzy tail. I love that my hair is thin enough that I can secure the end of a braid with simply one hidden bobby pin.
I kept the lip look super simple by lining my lips with a nude lip liner and then filling in the rest of my lips a bit. I blended it all together with a bit of lip balm.
